On 4 March 2024, I posted this image (below) on social media, which sparked a lot of comments.

This picture was taken back on 15 Feb 2024 when I did an oracle card reading (for my personal understanding) to gain insight into the whereabouts of Kate Middleton.
I couldn’t help but being drawn to the card in the middle of this spread.
I wanted more answers, so I looked at her and William’s astrology charts to see what the stars have to say.
Kate was last seen in public on Christmas Day of 2023.
A grainy image of Kate being spotted by the paparazzi with her mother in a car was released on social media a few hours after I posted the picture of my oracle card reading.
Many remarked on the veracity of that paparazzi shot pointing out that it doesn’t even look like her.
On Mother’s Day in the UK (10 March 2024), the first official photograph of her (since her abdominal surgery) was shared by her husband.
In the image, she is surrounded by her three children.
A few hours later, that image was recalled by photo agencies, including Associated Press, Agence France-Presse and Reuters because the picture was altered.
Since then, an “official” statement was issued where she apologized for editing a family photograph, but didn’t provide the original copy of the photo.
Some even pointed out that the image of Kate in this “official” photo is the exact same one that was featured on Vogue UK in the past.
I have to say (after seeing both photos side-by-side on social media) that the resemblance is strikingly similar!
The only difference is that she was wearing a hat for the Vogue UK picture.
Another image of a Kate sighting was published shortly after by the Daily Mail with what is supposed to be the back of her head inside a car with William.
But once again, it fuelled more controversy with demands to see “proof of life”.
This sequence of events left me with more questions than answers.
I looked at the astrology to find out when we will hear more “substantial” news and also to get an overall idea of her relationship with William.
Back on 17 Jan 2024, Kensington Palace announced on their website:
“Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to hospital yesterday for planned abdominal surgery. The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”
Easter this year will be on 31 March 2024.
I looked at her chart to see if anything major is highlighted for her around Easter time and afterwards.
The following will also give you a technical glimpse into how I analyze charts.

Kate is represented by her Ascendant in Leo and William is represented by the Descendant (the other) in Aquarius.
The Sun (which rules Leo) is Kate’s significator.
Saturn (traditional ruler of Aquarius) and Uranus (modern ruler of Uranus) are William’s significators.
The interaction between their significators tell a story.
What’s striking is the square (friction, conflict, obstacles) between the Sun (Kate) in Capricorn and Saturn (William) in Libra.
Saturn in Libra (William) is “exalted”, where a planet feels comfortable.
The Sun in Capricorn (Kate) is not necessarily the happiest placement.
But Saturn (William) has been receptive to the Sun (Kate) in Capricorn (even with a square aspect) because the Sun is aspecting from a sign that Saturn rules (Saturn rules Capricorn in addition to Aquarius).
Moreover, William is able to accommodate her from a place where he is comfortable and strong (Saturn being exalted in Libra).
However, it’s harder for Kate to accommodate him in the same way (which to be honest I’m surprised by, but I want to purely stick to what I’m seeing on her chart).
The Sun (Kate) in Capricorn has little strength to begin with and being so close to the cusp of the 6th house of duties & obligation, I put the Sun in her chart on the 6th house (instead of the 5th of children & recreation).
The Sun (Kate) in Capricorn is not as receptive to Saturn (William) in Libra because the Sun is considered to be in “fall” in Libra where it doesn’t shine as bright.
On top of that, the Sun in general represents one’s life force and an aspect to a cold planet like Saturn (restriction, heavy obligations) can feel limiting and stifling.
Something else that stands out is the square between her Moon (emotional needs) in Cancer and Saturn in Libra.
Both the Moon and the Sun are considered to be luminaries in astrology.
It can feel heavy and depressing when a planet like Saturn aspects a luminary, blocking its light and life force.
The Moon, the Sun and Saturn (along with Mars & Pluto if I take into account a wider orb allowance) are enmeshed in a Cardinal T-square.
A T-square is a harsh aspect pattern that is formed when planets in three zodiac signs of the same modality (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable) make difficult aspects to one another.
In her chart, the Moon in Cancer, the Sun in Capricorn and Saturn in Libra are all in cardinal signs, with Saturn (William) at the apex of this T-square where the energy is concentrated.
This shows that the dynamic of her marriage is largely influenced by William’s needs and demands.
Even though William is accommodating to her, but a huge part of her life is driven by obligations and duties that stem from being married to him.
Having said this, individuals with a Cardinal T-square are often highly ambitious with the determination to overcome challenges to go after what they want.
Now, going back to when will we hear news about her…
There will be a new Moon solar eclipse next month on 8 April 2024 (GMT) in Aries at 19°22.
This eclipse will not only activate the Cardinal T-square in her chart, but will also form a Grand Cardinal Cross with the planets in her chart.
A Grand Cross is one of the most difficult aspect patterns where there are challenges faced from different directions, sometimes to the point where one feels cornered. And a Grand Cardinal Cross is also associated with the abuse of power and leadership.
On top of this, this eclipse next month will make a partile (less than a degree) conjunction to the asteroid Chiron (wounds).
Hence, there’s a solid possibility that’s when major news about Kate will surface, which will be life-changing.
Eclipses are dramatic in nature, often marking major endings and beginnings when they touch specific parts of our chart.
The eclipse next month forming a Cardinal Cross with the planetary aspects of her chart will be impossible to ignore.
As for what’s happening around Easter at the end of this month…
There will be a lunar eclipse in Libra on 25 March 2024 (GMT) at 5°13, which will fall close to the 3rd house (communications) cusp of Kate’s chart.
This eclipse at the end of this month will conjunct her Mars and will form a trine (lucky aspect) to her Mercury (general significator of news) and Venus (ruler of her 3rd house) – both Mercury & Venus are located in her 6th house (which also represents health).
This could indicate good news at first about her recovery and well-being around Easter time.
But the major news to look out for is in the first half of April with the powerful solar eclipse on 8 April 2024 forming a Grand Cross with the planets in her chart, which has the signature of life-altering news.
I also wanted to take a look at the synastry (how one chart interacts with another chart) between her and William’s charts.
There are many things an astrologer can look at from a synastry.
One thing that is worth paying attention from two people’s charts are repetition of certain patterns.
For Kate and William, what stood out to me is that they both have Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Libra in the same order (I put a circle around these planets on their charts).

I write the following with best intentions toward all and without prejudice.
It’s not unusual for two people who are born within a time-span of up to 3 years to have Saturn and Pluto in the same sign (depending on the years of course).
Saturn is a social planet, and Pluto is a generational planet. And they both move slowly.
Saturn stays in a sign between 2.5-3 years, while Pluto (the slowest moving planet in our solar system) transits a sign anywhere between 12-30 years.
But Mars in both their charts placed in the same order (and close to the same degree) before Saturn & Pluto in the same sign stuck out to me like a sore thumb.
This is less common because Mars tours each sign between 6-7 weeks, except when it goes retrograde every two years. When Mars turns retrograde during its transit in a sign, it can end up staying in that sign for as long as 7 months.
Both Kate and William were born in 1982, with her date of birth on 9 January and his on 21 June.
Mars was in Libra from mid-Dec 1981 until early-Aug 1982. During this period, it went retrograde between March and May of 1982.
William’s Mars came close to the degree of Kate’s Mars when he was born a little over five months after her.
In other words, both their Mars are in a tight conjunction.
Keep in mind that those born between mid-Dec 1981 and early Aug 1982 would also have Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Libra in their charts (not necessarily in the same order though).
Another thing to remember is that Mars, Saturn and Pluto are considered “malefics” in astrology, which is not necessarily always as negative as this label suggests, but these planets are certainly not feel-good planets like Venus and Jupiter (which are considered “benefics”).
Mars, the action planet, represents drive, passion and combat among other things.
William has a Mars-Saturn conjunction (which Kate doesn’t, even though she has Mars & Saturn in the same sign like him).
At its best, this combination reveals incredible self-control and endurance with Mars (action) being close to Saturn (discipline).
At its worst, this can play out in the form of violence stemming from suppressed anger.
Astrologer, Sue Tompkins, in her book Aspects in Astrology describes that one of the more difficult energies of this combination is that “Mars-Saturn can suffer with great rage that they don’t know what to do with.”
She explains that this can emerge from unprocessed anger since childhood, which can lead to outbursts of anger later in life.
Her explanation reminds me of the incident described by William’s brother, Harry, in his memoir Spare when William physically attacked him out of the blue by grabbing him by the collar and knocking him over to the ground during an argument they had over Megan Markle.
I have to say that Harry’s revelation changed my perception of William.
I couldn’t help but think what else he is capable of doing in private when the world is not watching, especially someone born with extreme privilege in an environment where he is constantly told he is special with his behavior justified and even covered up.
What stunned me was that the media in Britain laughed it off as “sibling rivalry”, knowing full well that this kind of behavior wouldn’t be tolerated if this was towards someone’s spouse, child or pet.
I obviously don’t know if William acts like this towards Kate.
However, if a client came to me with questions about relationships with this configuration prominent in their chart and their partner also has the same or similar planetary pattern, I would certainly bring up the need for them to process deep-rooted anger from childhood that may be hiding in their psyche.
Or else there’s the danger that it can get activated in unpleasant ways when triggered.
Moreover, both William and Kate have a Saturn-Pluto conjunction (I’m allowing an orb of up to 10 degrees).
The orb of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction for Kate is closer compared to William’s.
I wrote earlier that it’s not necessarily uncommon for two people born within a timeframe for up to 3 years to have these slower-moving planets in the same sign in their charts, depending on the years of their birth.
An exact conjunction of Saturn and Pluto occurs roughly every 33-38 years.
Matters related to control (Saturn) and power (Pluto) are associated with those born under a Saturn-Pluto conjunction.
An extreme manifestation of this can play out in the form of rigid control and brutality.
On the other end of the spectrum, this combination shows the potential of extreme self-control (Saturn) on the use of power (Pluto), which can be channelled into accomplishing things that require great discipline.
If someone hasn’t done the work (inner or outer) required for self-awareness and processing trauma from the past, these energies can surface in the most negative ways.
And when both partners have the same or similar patterns, that’s a double whammy.
The last time this trio (Mars, Saturn & Pluto) were in one sign was from mid-Feb until the end of Mar 2020 when they were touring Capricorn.
At that time, these transiting malefics made a square (friction) to both William’s and Kate’s natal Mars, Saturn & Pluto.
Keep in mind that they also have harmonious aspects between natal planets in their charts.
But it was impossible for me not to notice the repetition of this particular pattern.
If you and someone else in your life have this pattern in your synastry, please don’t think that your relationship is doomed.
You can always direct an energy to play out in a certain way. But sometimes, you have to be aware of it in the first place.
“Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely” – the famous quote from the 19th century British politician Lord Acton reverberates when I think of the Mars, Saturn & Pluto signature on one’s chart when power is left unchecked…
