We’re in eclipse season in the midst of retrograde Mercury (Mercury turned Rx on 29 May 2021 and will go direct on 22 June 2021 GMT).

Cancellations, delays, last-minute changes, electronic appliances malfunctioning, automobiles breaking down and communication devices going haywire are typical themes that surface with Mercury Rx.

I can’t imagine anyone not encountering any of these disruptions and setbacks right now.

Brain fog, forgetfulness and confusion are also common themes during Mercury Rx.

Words that are on the tip of our tongues, but some how we cannot quite blurt out are also usual phenomenon during this time, even when talking about basic things.

The other day, trying to find the right words, I described the washing machine as the “laundry thingy”.

The confusions are also compounded by the eclipses in the mutable signs of Gemini and Sagittarius.

Planning anything concrete right now feels like trying to build a skyscraper at the bottom of an ocean.

On top of this, the second of the three exact Saturn-Uranus squares this year, which promises to bring major upheavals, is looming on the horizon.

Saturn (establishment & structure) in collective-minded Aquarius squaring (conflict & friction) Uranus (revolution & shock) in risk-averse Taurus manifests as strife and instability between the old and the new.

This has already surfaced this year and is continuing to grow with large-scale demonstrations and social unrest between the old structures of power and mass numbers of people demanding change all over the globe at the collective level.

At the individual level, each of us are in the process of letting go of many familiar things from our old paradigm to make room for the new, without knowing what the new paradigm will be like.

If you have planets or if the cusps of your angular houses (ASC & DSC or MC & IC) are in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) close to the degrees where Saturn makes an exact square to Uranus (the degrees are indicated below), then the friction between releasing things from the past and making space for the new has been undeniable in your life.

The first exact Saturn-Uranus square this year in 2021 was on 17 February at 7 degrees, the second one will be next week on 14 June at 13 degrees, and the third one will take place on 24 December at 11 degrees (GMT).

There is also a fourth Saturn-Uranus square that will occur next year in October 2022.

Saturn-Uranus squares are known for bringing forth sudden turnarounds, reversals in situations and unexpected shifts in consciousness, often at the speed of a lightning. This also applies to those who may seem stable and infallible along with those who are least likely to have a change of mind or heart.

One explosive and shocking news that I can think of right now, reverberating the theme of a sudden U-turn as symbolized by the Saturn-Uranus square, involves Anthony Fauci.

Fauci is the Chief Medical Advisor to the US President, who played a central role in shaping American policies in handling the Covid crisis.

Recently, Fauci’s emails dating back to the onset of the pandemic have been released, raising major questions about the origins of Covid-19.

Messages in his email exchange suggest that the virus may have been leaked from a Wuhan lab instead of being transferred to humans from bats.

The controversial element from the messages is that Fauci may have knowingly downplayed the lab leak of the virus. And instead endorsed the narrative that the virus was naturally spread by wild animals.

Other controversial factors from his email correspondence reveal that behind the scenes he also may have been involved in funding a Wuhan lab in the past (between 2014-2019) for research on bat corona viruses.

Fauci’s response over the controversies is that the messages from his emails are being taken out of context and that he maintains an open mind in questioning the origins of the virus.

I don’t claim to know whether Fauci had direct involvement in a cover-up or whether he had something to do with the origins of the corona virus.

I also don’t know enough to declare that the virus naturally emerged or that it was created in a lab.

For me, the most shocking part is not even the news itself, but that it’s being covered by mainstream news outlets, including CNN, The Washing Post, BBC, etc.

The same type of coverage that was regarded as “fake news” or “conspiracy theories” in the recent past.

The type of news that were de-platformed or shadow-banned from social media platforms just a few months and weeks ago when others (including prominent medical figures) spoke about are now being openly discussed in mainstream media.

This is the sudden turn and unexpected shift in mass consciousness that are represented by the Saturn-Uranus square – topics that were explored by others who were not deemed newsworthy are now mainstream headline news. And this phenomenon is being heightened by the eclipses in the Gemini-Sagittarius axis.

Out of curiosity, I looked up Fauci’s astrological chart (his time of birth is unknown).

What stood out to me is that the recent full moon lunar eclipse in Sagittarius last month on 26 May 2021 at 5 degrees closely conjunct his natal Venus (values) that makes a trine (favorable aspect) to his retrograde Pluto (things that are hidden).

Full moon lunar eclipses are often known for major revelations or for illuminating the truth, that rise up like tidal waves.

This is even more so in the sign of Sagittarius, a sign known for its pursuit of the truth.

The lunar eclipse being close to the South Node represents things from the past surfacing that need to be addressed.

On top of that Mercury Rx also forces us to revisit issues from the past.

However, the Sagittarius lunar eclipse last month was entangled in a mutable T-square involving the sun, moon and Jupiter (ruler of Sagittarius), with stationary Mercury about to go retrograde in a few days at that time.

On top of that, both Mercury (news & communications) and Venus (values) were squaring (friction) Neptune (the planet of fog), making it ripe for confusion, ambiguity and even deception.

So, it is best to hold our horses right now before we label anything as the ultimate truth.

The other thing that stood out to me in Fauci’s chart is the stellium of planets (Jupiter, Saturn & Uranus) in Taurus, some of which has been activated (and will continue to be triggered) by the Saturn-Uranus squares of 2021.

His Jupiter (expansion) conjunct Saturn Rx (contraction) in Taurus squaring (conflict) Pluto Rx (things that are hidden) in Leo has been triggered by the Saturn-Uranus square.

It is safe to say that his reputation is on the spotlight and will continue to be scrutinized, and may even take a major turn in an unexpected direction.

I will be paying attention to the full moon in Capricorn at the end of this month on 24 June 2021 (GMT) at 3 degrees (which will closely conjunct his Sun) to see what other information transpires about him.

Also, the impact of the Sagittarius lunar eclipse at the end of last May can be felt a month later at the end of June. And by the end of June, Mercury will go direct and much of the fog will be clearing out, which will enable us to make more sense of things and perhaps even put some of the pieces of the puzzle together.

Meanwhile, the upcoming new solar eclipse in Gemini at 20 degrees on 10 June 2021 (GMT) will continue the theme of confusion and disarray.

The sun, moon & Mercury (ruler of Gemini) during this solar eclipse will square (friction) Neptune (planet of fog), making it hard to decipher the truth.

This solar eclipse will oppose Fauci’s natal Mercury (communications) which squares (friction) Neptune (planet of fog) in his chart.

The combination of the planetary configurations in the sky during this eclipse along with the Mercury-Neptune square in his chart form a Grand Mutable Cross for him.

A Grand Mutable Cross denotes friction involving all four mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces).

That is a lot of tension from all directions, generating widespread confusion and chaos, without much scope for understanding. He is being pulled in multiple directions, without finding any solid footing on anything.

If you have planets or if the cusps of your angular houses (ASC & DSC or MC & IC) are close to 20 degrees in mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), you will feel the impact of the solar eclipse tomorrow more directly.

The solar eclipse in the sign of the twins will present dual or even multiple options.

Just when you opt for one option, another door swings wide open, causing you to change your mind about the first option.

The word “switcheroo” comes to mind when thinking of tomorrow’s eclipse. And the unexpected changes and switching sides will be intensified by the second exact Saturn-Uranus square that will follow a few days after on 14 June.

The best course of action right now is to take no action if you can avoid it. But rather respond to external circumstances to the best of your ability, keeping in mind that things will shift and change.

If you have to take action, keep in mind that there are many things you are not aware of yet, which you will know about when the dust settles by the end of June.

Things may not pan out the way you expect, so don’t hold on to a single plan or get too attached to a specific outcome at the moment.

Having said this, eclipses mark major endings and beginnings, taking us to a new chapter of our lives almost immediately.

The life-altering circumstances when eclipses hit major points and planets in our chart are often brought about by external factors that happen to us.

This is a time when it’s best to respond to situations outside of you, rather than trying to make things happen in your life.

Even though the sand is shifting and the tide is turning and you can’t see the road ahead clearly, if you are impacted by the eclipse, know that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Both the eclipse tomorrow along with the Saturn-Uranus square hits planets and key points in my chart. So, I’m experiencing many of the things I just wrote about.

I was mentally and physically prepared for this month.

Hence, I’m letting things happen rather than trying to make things happen. And you know what – it has been exciting and I’m loving it!

Every time something doesn’t turn out the way it was planned these days, I can see how it’s a blessing minimizing future problems and hassles.

This month is a topsy-turvy one, and it is anything but boring.

Enjoy the ride, but don’t hold on too tight because more twists and turns are ahead…
