After Neptune’s (dreams, illusions) long tour in watery Pisces since 2011, it is now in fiery Aries.

The Lord of the Seas, Neptune, gave us a preview last year in terms of what we can expect when it first dipped its toes into Aries between 30 Mar – 22 Oct 2025.

It then returned to Pisces (between 22 Oct 2025 – 26 Jan 2026) to wrap up unfinished business in the sign of the fish.

Now, it’s back in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac.

And it will remain in Aries for the next 13 years.

Below are the timelines of Neptune in Aries(GMT) for quick reference:

30 Mar 2025 – 22 Oct 2025 (moves back to Pisces from 22 Oct 2025 – 26 Jan 2026)

26 Jan 2026 – 22 May 2038 (ingresses into Taurus from 22 May 2038 – 21 Oct 2038)

21 Oct 2038 – 23 Mar 2039 (re-enters Taurus on 23 Mar 2039)

Neptune is the second slowest-moving planet in our solar system.

It takes Neptune about 165 years to travel through all 12 signs.

While the inner planets(Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) shape our personalities along with personal experiences, the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) reflect societal and generational trends (which can impact us at an individual level as well).

Jupiter’s and Saturn’s influences are reflected at the societal level.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto make more of a generational impact.

The slower and the further away the planets are from us, the more they mark the beginning of new cycles when they change signs.

In line with the phrase “as above, so below”, when the planets, especially the outer ones change signs, we feel a shift in and around us, sometimes even immediately.

So, what kind of impact can we expect with Neptune in Aries for the next 13 years?

Boundary-dissolving Neptune at its best represents unconditional love and endless compassion.

Neptune is also associated with heightened creativity and boundless imagination.

Some of the best musicians, artists and composers have strong Neptunian influence in their charts.

With Neptune ruling cinema and photography, the film industry is filled with Neptunian types.

Marilyn Monroe is a perfect example, with Neptune in her first house of “self”.

The first house represents the first impression others have of us.

Iconic Indian movie star, Shah Rukh Khan (aka the King of Bollywood), also has Neptune in his first house.

He is so famous with a cult-like following worldwide that people know who he is just from his initials, SRK, without any further introduction.

Neptune is a master of blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.

It can transport us into a land of fantasy and imagination with an otherworldly feel.

Neptune can also give us a glimpse into the mystical realm of the unseen and the unknown, including through dreams and psychic phenomenon.

But one thing to keep in mind with Neptune in the picture is that what you see is not necessarily what you get.

Neptunian energy can trap us into a world of deception, delusion and addiction.

Whenever you hear stories of fake gurus, con artists or catfishing (which is a fake online identity to deceive someone for romantic scams, financial exploitation &/or emotional manipulation), you can be certain that negative Neptunian energy was at play.

This includes sob stories to trick others out of their money.

Or being in a relationship with someone for many years who was never the person whom their partner thought them to be.

Neptunian deception and delusion can be painful for those who have been conned or those who got carried away in a fantasy.

This includes at the collective level with a generational planet like Neptune.

In light of the recent release of the Epstein files, just days after Neptune left Pisces for Aries, we’re seeing the names of many famous individuals popping up, with some linked to dark and sinister activities.

In the last few days, there have been a flurry of collective backlash against public figures and celebrities.

This includes some famous names who were idolized and celebrated by mass numbers of people in the past.

The phrase “when the veil drops” comes to mind with illusions getting shattered about certain individuals at such a mass scale.

We’re getting a glimpse of what Neptune blurred for many years as soon as it left mystical and dreamy Pisces where Neptunian energy was heightened.

Pisces is co-ruled by Neptune (the other co-ruler is Jupiter).

Now it’s ingress into Aries, the sign of the individual, will bring a Neptunian flair to the first sign of the zodiac who is known for trailblazing action, courage and ego.

On that note, below are what we can expect with Neptune in Aries for the next 13 years at the collective level.

I’ll begin with what to watch out for and when Neptunian energy is your foe:

  • Individuals (Aries) using deceitful (Neptune) images or depictions to appear as someone else or something else, especially with the use of AI which is getting more advanced by the day
  • Unchecked ego (Aries) cloaked in spiritual (Neptune) language, or confusing impulsive action with divine guidance
  • Rage fueled by false narrative or projections, or fighting “fake” enemies
  • Addiction to adrenaline, conflict or chaos
  • Constant action to over-compensate for the lack of clarity, or chasing after goals without being clear on what the goals are in the first place (the phrase “throwing spaghetti on the walls” with the hope that something will stick comes to mind)
  • Disillusionment when dreams and goals don’t come into fruition rapidly, especially when the negative traits associated with Aries energy, such as impatience and impulsiveness, get activated

Below are the higher expressions of how this energy can materialize and how to make Neptunian energy your friend:

  • Fighting (Aries) for the rights of the most vulnerable (Neptune), or defending the marginalized, the voiceless or the underdogs
  • Pioneering (Aries) humanitarian (Neptune) movements, or leading a cause to empower those in need
  • Inspired leadership, or putting your vision into action (rather than just dreaming about it)
  • Starting artistic or creative projects (including through photography, theatre, music, etc.) to ignite activism
  • Breaking free from outdated spiritual paradigms to embark on a new one with an open mind (while also acknowledging that there are dangers of being misled or misguided at times)
  • Leading with intuition by tapping into your sixth sense and enhancing your psychic skills & abilities (to also question anything that seems too good to be true)

When it comes to Neptune, there’s also an element of sacrifice.

This is a good time to ask what you’re willing to sacrifice?

Not in a way that you lose yourself and merge your needs with another without boundaries, which is guaranteed to make you resentful later.

But in a more conscious way, which can be a delicate and a challenging balance to strike.
