With the mighty Sun entering Aries – the first sign of the zodiac – the promise of a new beginning looms on the horizon.
Over the weekend this March , Saturn will ingress into Aquarius (until July 1st of 2020 – GMT). This will be followed by a new moon in Aries next week opening the curtains for a new act where new life will begin to take root.
As new life sprouts around us, will the turmoil and commotion that we are all undergoing come to an end?
It will be the start of a new beginning for sure. But, the tumultuous chapter is hardly over.
Get ready for sequels when Saturn returns to 29 degrees of Capricorn again this year.
In one of my previous posts, I wrote about Saturn at the 29th degree of Capricorn (see Fear – Saturn in Capricorn at the Final Degree).
The 29th degree is known as the anaretic degree, and is associated with a sense of urgency and crises.
Saturn, the planet known for generating fear has been at this degree since 9th of March and will stay here until the 22nd before it enters Aquarius to stay there for over three months.
I am certainly not suggesting that we should only be looking at Saturn when analyzing our current state.
Needless to say, even those who casually pay attention to astrology forecasts, can see the motions set in place by the stellium of planets in Capricorn since January 2020, particularly the Saturn-Pluto conjunction.
Saturn and Pluto definitely have a role in breaking down structures, while Jupiter is magnifying the crisis.
The other planets that are also on center stage right now are Neptune and Mercury.
Neptune is dissolving boundaries among people and countries, while Mercury (currently debilitated in Pisces) may even be involved in spreading the virus.
On top of that, news about COVID-19 started to circulate in mainstream media just after the new moon in Aquarius back in January 2020. This indicates that news about this pandemic will not go away any time soon.
However, Saturn at the anaretic degree should get some attention, especially when analyzing the current climate of deep and widespread fear.

In astrology, one powerful way to predict life-altering changes is to see if a planet transits the same degree three times (it is particularly powerful if the transiting planet tightly aspects other planets).
In this case, ever since Saturn entered the 29th degree of Capricorn (9-22nd of March 2020), the climate of fear and vulnerability reached fever pitch.
The first time when a planet hits a certain degree is when it is at its most intense, showing us a preview of what’s on the way.
Next time, Saturn in retrograde phase will be transiting this degree in Capricorn again between 1-16th of July.
In July, expect to re-visit the themes of fear and vulnerability again. The second time when the planet appears at the same degree is when we will be forced to make further adjustments. The changes that are on their way will be underscored by the final eclipses in the Cancer-Capricorn series this summer.
Finally, Act 3 of Saturn at 29 degrees of Capricorn will surface between 7-17th of December of 2020.
In December, the collective climate of fear and powerlessness will re-emerge and will come to some kind of a resolution. The world we are familiar with will change by then…as the stage gets ready for a new play.
I get asked if the trilogy of Saturn at the final degree of Capricorn a good or a bad thing?
To that I answer that I have both good and bad news.
The bad news is change is inevitable. And the good news is change is inevitable…
