Saturn began its journey in fiery Aries, starting from 25 May 2025 (GMT).

All the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) this year had either already changed signs or are about to move into new signs.

In line with the phrase “as above, so below”, when the planets, especially the outer ones change signs, we feel a shift in and around us, sometimes even immediately.

We get clues and hints as to what these changes are or will be, starting on the first few days leading up to the change and also right after the days when an outer planet moves into a new sign.

With Saturn, aka the Lord of Time, we become more acutely aware of the passage of time.

I went down memory lane recently when making adjustments to how I share my astrology and other relevant posts with those who are subscribed to my “Divine Kitten” newsletter, which I’ve been sending out since 2019.

2019 doesn’t seem that long ago.

Yet, at times, it feels like it was a different lifetime back then.

Back in 2019 when I started my “Divine Kitten” business, the learning curve to run a business felt steep.

Saturn at that time was in Capricorn – the sign it rules (it also rules Aquarius).

Prior to my “Divine Kitten” business, I’ve always worked for an employer, some of which were major international organizations and humanitarian agencies, including the UN and Oxfam.

Not only did I lack experience in running a business, but I also had zero skills building a website from scratch and using social media platforms (which I used to avoid like the plague, before I started openly working as an astrologer).

In 2019, transiting Saturn was touring my 12th house – a mysterious house associated with isolation and the ethereal realm.

I knew that Saturn at that time was asking me to work in seclusion (12th house) for long periods of time to build the foundation (Capricorn) for “Divine Kitten” which was an intangible (12th house) idea at that time.

There was no manual for building the foundation for the vision I had for my business.

Also, in line with 12th house-related themes, I felt lost and confused a lot of the time trying to navigate without a roadmap.

It’s interesting that Saturn is considered to be in its “planetary joy” in the 12th house.

Planetary joys are house placements where a certain planet in a specific house “rejoices” in that particular environment.

In other words, the themes associated with that house resonate with the traits of a particular planet.

Saturn is known for hard work, discipline, responsibility and structure.

It now makes sense to have had transiting Saturn in my 12th house at that time, who was happy to toil away in isolation (12th house) to create something tangible (Saturn) about esoteric (12th house) matters from an intangible (12th house) realm.

Then in Dec 2020, Saturn ingresed into Aquarius.

Having an early degree Aquarius Rising, I feel Saturnian transits at times in profound ways because Saturn (being the ancient ruler of Aquarius) is one of my chart rulers (in addition to Uranus, which is the modern ruler of Aquarius).

During Saturn’s time in Aquarius touring my 1st house, I noticed that the foundations I set earlier becoming more solid, especially when it came to my online (Aquarius) presence (1st house).

Then in Mar 2023, Saturn entered watery Pisces.

Pisces occupies most of my 2nd house, which is associated with income, finances and values.

Saturn is known for limiting and restricting until we learn certain lessons.

And I can safely say that I’ve experienced Saturn’s limitations and have learned to streamline (Saturn) a lot of the costs while assessing the value of what I offer.

Saturn will be ingressing into Aries in a few days on 25 May.

It will initially stay in this sign for a few months until 1 Sep 2025 when it returns to Pisces to tie up loose ends in the last sign of the zodiac.

It will then come back to Aries next year on 14 Feb 2026 to stay in the first sign of the zodiac until 13 Apr 2028.

Saturn often marks certain milestones in our lives, which are forever etched in our memories.

Saturn in Aries will begin another phase where we will be laying the foundation with hard work wherever Aries falls in our chart.

Remember, that with Saturn, we enjoy the fruits of our labor later, after going through all kinds of trials and tribulations.

Jupiter and Saturn are both regarded as teachers in astrology.

Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, teaches in ways that inspire and lift your spirit.

While Saturn, the Greater Malefic, is stern in his teaching.

Saturn makes us work hard, often under limiting circumstances with scarce resources.

But I want to point out that what we achieve when Saturn is involved often last a long time, and sometimes even a lifetime.

They are concrete accomplishments that are hard-earned and well-deserved.

Without taskmaster, Saturn, I can’t even imagine materializing tangible things and milestone moments in this time-space physical reality.

Below are the timelines (GMT) of the recent and upcoming transits of the outer planets, starting with the slowest-moving planet in our solar system:

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS (248 years to travel through all 12 signs):

23 Mar 2023 – 11 Jun 2023 (moves back to Capricorn from 11 Jun 2023 – 21 Jan 2024)

21 Jan 2024 – 2 Sep 2024 (moves back to Capricorn from 2 Sep 2024 – 19 Nov 2024)

19 Nov 2024 – 9 Mar 2043 (ingresses into Pisces from 9 Mar 2043 – 31 Aug 2043)

31 Aug 2043 – 19 Jan 2044 (re-enters Pisces on 19 Jan 2044)

NEPTUNE IN ARIES (165 years to travel through all 12 signs):

30 Mar 2025 – 22 Oct 2025 (moves back to Pisces from 22 Oct 2025 – 26 Jan 2026)

26 Jan 2026 – 22 May 2038 (ingresses into Taurus from 22 May 2038 – 21 Oct 2038)

21 Oct 2038 – 23 Mar 2039 (re-enters Taurus on 23 Mar 2039)

URANUS IN GEMINI (84 years to travel through all 12 signs):

7 Jul 2025 – 8 Nov 2025 (moves back to Taurus from 8 No 2025 – 26 Apr 2026)

26 Apr 2026 – 3 Aug 2032 (ingresses into Cancer from 3 Aug 2032 – 12 Dec 2032)

12 Dec 2032 – 22 May 2033 (re-enters Cancer on 22 May 2033)

SATURN IN ARIES (29.5 years to travel through all 12 signs):

25 May 2025 – 1 Sep 2025 (moves back to Pisces from 1 Sep 2025 – 14 Feb 2026)

14 Feb 2026 – 13 Apr 2028 (ingresses into Taurus on 13 Apr 2028)

JUPITER IN CANCER (12 years to travel through all 12 signs):

9 Jun 2025 – 30 Jun 2026 (ingresses into Leo on 30 Jun 2026)

You may notice from the timelines above that some of the planets (including Saturn, Uranus & Neptune) will be going in and out of two signs this year before settling into one sign for a longer period of time from next year.

2025 is the year where new cycles begin with these planets changing signs, while they also come back to wrap up anything unfinished in the previous signs.
